Hello, World — Welcome to My Blog
Welcome to my blog.
I'm Santosh Sarkar, a BSc.CSIT student and aspiring software engineer, currently learning and building my way into the world of software development.
This blog is a place where I’ll document my journey — not just the things I build, but also the things I learn, the problems I face, and the lessons I gain along the way.
What I'm Learning
My journey so far has taken me through technologies such as:
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- React and Next.js
- Node.js and Express
- MongoDB
- Git and GitHub
- REST APIs
- Full-stack web development
I'm also exploring areas beyond just writing code, including software engineering practices, backend architecture, APIs, databases, and AI-assisted development.
What You'll Find Here
I'll use this blog to share:
- Things I've learned while studying software engineering
- Technical concepts explained in a simple way
- Lessons from my projects
- Problems I've encountered and how I solved them
- Project development updates
- Useful resources and tools
- My experiences as I continue growing as a developer
I don't expect to know everything. That's actually the reason I want to write.
Writing about something forces me to understand it better, and documenting the journey lets me look back and see how far I've come.
Building in Public
This blog is also a small way of building in public.
Some posts might be polished. Others might simply be notes from something I struggled with that day.
The goal isn't to pretend that I already have everything figured out.
The goal is to keep learning, keep building, and keep improving.
What's Next?
There is a lot I want to explore and build.
I'll be sharing my projects, experiments, technical discoveries, and the lessons I pick up along the way.
If you're also learning software development, I hope some of what I share can be useful to you.
So, this is where the journey begins.
Welcome to my blog.
Let's build, learn, and improve — one step at a time.
